Sports & Remedial Massage
Sports & Remedial Massage is the structured manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues for the relief of pain and tension, using deep stroking techniques with frictions, pressures and stretches.
This is a deeper form of massage that focuses on sporting and occupational injuries and ailments. For individuals who may have sustained injuries or conditions such as muscle strains, ligament sprains, low-back pain, knee discomfort, shoulder / neck pain or tension, sports massage offers relief from discomfort and promotes rehabilitation and recovery. A variety of techniques are used to minimise pain, enhance performance, improve range of movement and aid recovery.
